The John Boos Newton Prep Master III features edge grain, maple construction that keeps bacteria from penetrating the wood and also resists nicks and gouges from knives. A mineral oil and beeswax finish on the cutting surface increases the board's longevity. The routed, sloped juice groove has an open end for easy drainage into the included stainless steel condiment pan. Reverse the board to cut on the rear flat surface.
